Leslie was hired early in February, 2025 to help a Client charged with child molestation. When Leslie was hired, the Client had already been in jail for almost a year.
Leslie began investigating the case and discovered a long history with the alleged victim and other family members pushing the prosecution.
After a thorough review of the case, Leslie shared all of the family history with the prosecutor and filed a series of motions that were heard by the Court. Although many of the motions were denied, they gave Leslie the opportunity to highlight the flaws in the State’s case.
A few weeks after the motions were heard, the State dismissed the entire case at the calendar call right before trial.
