Client Acquitted of Home Invasion, December 2021

Recidivist Client was charged with home invasion, two counts of aggravated assault, terroristic threats, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Client opted for a jury trial, even though he was facing a possible life sentence plus more than 40 years in prison if convicted.

After a three-day trial, Client was acquitted of all charges submitted to the jury. The State then dismissed the possession of a firearm by a convicted felon count.
